HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We wish you a workout full of tears and pain.

Well everyone it’s Kris’s bday and this is what she requested for her “Birthday WOD”…..I have no words
WOD
“KALSU”

On the minute perform 5 burpees and a max set of  thrusters. Keeping this pace till you complete 100 total thrusters.

At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many thrusters as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters and so on until you reach 100 total thrusters. Go as long as it must take to complete the 100 thrusters.

    Dear Kris
I do not hate you for choosing this WOD(right now anyway). I am honored that I was able to do this with you and finish in almost the same time!!
Hope your Bday was the BEST.
Thanks for realizing that I was talking SOO much trash about doing this as RX and embracing the idea that it might be really stupid for us to do this with the Open right around the corner.
In all seriousness it was really awful but watching you power through made me not want to rest as much as I had planned 🙂 thanks for ALWAYS pushing and encouraging me to do things that scare me a bit- my first time doing Kalsu with the actual required movements…first time I have not been injured when this one came around- I can in all honestly say…I can see how this could make a grown woman cry.
    HAVE A GREAT DAY!
